This page is a practical website-policy draft for Crest Automotive Care. It is not formal legal advice. Replace bracketed business details and have a qualified attorney review it before relying on it.
1. Important booking note
This page is a starter policy for Crest Automotive Care and must be aligned with the final booking, payment and invoice process before publication. The booking confirmation sent for a particular vehicle and date may contain additional terms that apply to that booking.
2. Enquiry versus confirmed booking
A calculator estimate, enquiry, phone conversation or WhatsApp message does not create a confirmed appointment. A booking is confirmed only after Crest communicates the date, scope, price, payment or deposit requirements and any vehicle-specific conditions.
3. Customer cancellation
For a confirmed booking, please contact us as early as possible using the details in the confirmation. Insert the final notice periods before publishing: [insert full-refund cancellation window], [insert partial-refund window], and [insert no-refund / late-cancellation rule].
If a deposit is taken, the confirmation should state whether it is refundable, transferable to a new date, or retained to cover reserved capacity and preparation. Any rule must be applied transparently and subject to non-excludable consumer rights.
4. Rescheduling
We will try to accommodate a reasonable request to move a booking. A new date depends on availability, vehicle condition, treatment duration and any curing or preparation requirements. Repeated, late or no-show rescheduling may be treated as a cancellation under the confirmed booking terms.
5. Crest cancellation or delay
We may postpone or cancel a booking because of staffing, equipment, safety, weather, site access, vehicle suitability, unavailable materials, suspected damage risk or another operational reason. Where we cancel without customer fault, we will offer a rescheduled date or refund any amount that the confirmed terms say is refundable.
6. Inspection changes and additional work
If inspection shows that the vehicle needs additional preparation, correction, parts, disassembly, curing time or a different treatment, we will explain the change before proceeding where reasonably practicable. Do not assume the website estimate includes unlisted repair, replacement, deep-restoration or specialist work.
7. Concerns after service
Contact us promptly with the invoice, vehicle details, photographs where useful and a description of the concern. We may inspect the vehicle and offer a reasonable remedy, rework, adjustment or other resolution appropriate to the confirmed scope and applicable law. Do not attempt a third-party correction before giving Crest a reasonable opportunity to inspect where the concern relates to our work.
8. Non-refundable or third-party charges
Third-party fees, special-order materials, completed services, personalised goods and charges already paid to an external provider may be treated differently if clearly disclosed in the booking confirmation. Crest will not use this section to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. How to request a refund
Send the request to [insert support email] with your name, phone number, vehicle, booking reference, payment details and reason. We will acknowledge the request within [insert acknowledgement period] and communicate the decision and method within [insert resolution period], subject to verification and the applicable payment provider’s timing.
10. Escalation
If your concern is not resolved, use the process on the Grievance Redressal page. You may also have rights under applicable consumer-protection law.
